How I Work
I am Dr. Larissa Laska-Ruebusch. I specialize in psychological testing for children, teens, and adults. In particular, I specialize in evaluating for neurodivergence. I believe assessment is a collaborative process between myself and the families I work with. I will work with you to identify your questions and concerns.
Once I understand your needs, I will design a personalized testing plan, which allows me to obtain the information needed to answer your questions. When the assessment is complete, you will receive a psychological report which will include information about your child’s (or your) functioning. This report will include test results, diagnosis, areas of strength, areas for growth, and treatment recommendations.
I believe it is essential for your child, no matter their age, to participate in the testing process from identifying their own questions about themselves to receiving developmentally appropriate information about their testing results. This allows them to be equal participants in the process and increases their cooperation and personal investment.
